Our first expedition will be happening Saturday! Get ready to scramble over rocks and maybe even get a little wet as we follow the course Tai Shing Stream. RSVP using the form below.
We will be hiking the upper part of Tai Shing Stream in search for the Hong Kong Warty Newt. Check out this hiking guide from Hike Hong Kong. The hike should take about 5 hours. It will involve scrambling over rocks around bodies of water so be prepared for the challenging nature of this adventure.
You can meet us at Central MTR Station at 9:50am or at the Tsuen Wan Station at 10:30am. Make sure you bring your Octopus card! We will be taking minibus #82 to the Pineapple Dam (we will be arrive there around 11:10am if you want to meet us there).
Because of the nature of the animal we are searching for and its habitat, do be prepared to perhaps get wet (even bring a bathing suit if you don’t mind the cold!)
